Hi, my wife is worried

Hi, its Greg, I have been on this site for many years worrying and sharing my results with prostate cancer. I am somewhat cured - 5 years under .008 and feeling very fortunate. My wife was my rock through all of it. Now she has been going through many tests for breast cancer. I am saying the same things she said to me, its going to be ok, we will deal with it, i will be here for you, we got this. But with no definite diagnosis she is worrying about how i would get along without her, how i would feel if she looked different, none of that changes anything for me, i love her forever. She has more tests June 3rd. They will be doing a second mammogram, maybe a biopsy and they have scheduled an MRI.

Worried and I don't seem to be as good as she was making me feel that its going to be ok.

Thanks for listening,

Greg
Hi Greg, sorry to read that your wife got the call for further testing. Everything she is feeling right now is normal. She may be scheduled for a sonogram & a 3D mammogram, depending on those results, a biopsy may be scheduled. Keep doing what you are doing by listening & offering encouragement, just follow her lead.

I have several friends that are breast cancer survivors including my own sister. Advances has been made to treat breast cancer just like treatment of PCa.

Take care.

As a breast cancer survivor you are doing exactly what we want our husbands to do. Tell her:
It sucks, I love you no matter what, we will get through this, it's ok to be scared/mad/sad/etc.
