I am now doing chemo with radiation for the clavicle nodes that affected my arm, but the chemo is really making me sick. I have 7 more rads to go (out of 25) and think I am declining the chemo this monday.. I cant stand being sick for the whole week. THis time I need to go in for hydration, IV nausea meds, they put me on a patch for nausea and also a suppository. Today is a bit better. Sorry for not writing sooner, the arm isnt up to par yet.\

Oh, Vicky. Nausea is just the worst. I wish they could find something to make you not be sick and could help the nodes. You certainly deserve a break by now! (((((((hugs)))))))

Vicky, I'm sorry you're having such a time with your tx. We do miss seeing you on the board, but we certainly understand that you need to take care of you. Just know that we love hearing from you when you're up to it.

I'm so sorry to hear about this, Vicky. I will be praying that the treatment will get easier. You know, we all expect to have some pretty rough roads now and then, and you've certainly had more than your share. I know it is pretty hard, but try to focus on the end of treatment, taking it just one day at a time. I'm sending healing hugs and many prayers.
And remember, look in the mirror every day and tell yourself, "I'm like L'Oriel, I cost more, but I'm worth it".

I'm sorry to hear that you are so sick from this treatment. I remember how it felt the first few days after chemo and I didn't even have it that bad. I can only imagine what you are going through. It will be over soon and you'll be feeling better in no time! Take care of yourself.

I am sorry that you are feeling so crummy...being nauseous is the pits...glad that your radiation is almost finished. What chemo are you doing ? I think about you often. So glad that you checked in..

Vicky I am sorry that you have to go through all this again. I have such a problem with young women dealing with so much and some old women sit around and complain about nothing. Right now the later is consuming my life, my mother (almost 93) who has rarely ever had a pain in her life has been complaining for ten days because she has a headache/neckache. She has been to the dr and the ER and we all feel she has nothing seriously wrong. Most likely it was caused by sleeping in a bad position. She called again this morning waking me up to tell me she is no better. And then I come read your post and you sound so brave and strong dealing with real problems.
