Hi all, I was reading some posts earliet and would like to know what DGL stands for. It sounded like something that could help me. I am newly on nexium, don't like the dizziness and headaches that it is causing. Also taking zelnorm in the am and ativan for anxiety. It helps with the gerd too. I am actually going wed. this week for an upper gi series to see if i do have a hiatel hernia. Thanks, dawn

jamie, thank you so much for your reply. would i have to order that licorice or would a health food store have it? I will go out tomorrow if i can get some locally. there are so many questions that i have about all of this and i have learned alot just by reading the info here. first, i will wait and see if they actually diagnose me with a hiatel hernia. I don't know why they went ahead and gave me 40 mgs of nexium anyway. i'm not sure how long i will take it because it also made me pretty dizzy along with the headache. i was thinking that the side effects may go away but not sure. thanks so much.

kefir question
good morning all. i would like to ask if anyone has had any experience with kefir helping their gerd problems. I usually always have some on hand, i make it myself for my mom. thanks, dawn
