High Blood Pressure ("HPB") is not considered a form of heart-disease however it is a VERY major contributing factor. I should also like to point out that sustained levels of high blood pressure (months/years) are what contribute to it -- not infrequent high blood pressure. You should ask your doctor though first before worrying by the way, only your doctor knows what a dangerous level is for someone is your height/weight/age group.
david you seem to be quite knowledgeable, do have any words of wisdom about cholesteral numbers. as far as bp is concerned, that was good info. also, i cannot take statins am due to start questrin. my total chole is 275, with a good chol #of 63, also i am female,, well i guess that is obvious by my posted name ha ha
