Holly is home from surgery

Thank all of you for the many prayers you sent Holly's way.  They definitely helped.  She had colon and rectum removed on Friday.  As her Mom, I was horrified with the pain she was in for the next 2 days.  But by Monday evening, she was very much better.  Laughing and joking with everyone.  She caught right on how to change her bag and has adjusted so far.

Holly showed her stitches to one of her daughter's friends(a 6 yr. old) The little girl responded with total disgust.  Jorden told her, that's not nice to say, my Mommy was very sick and now she has to poo in the bag.  But it's not yucky.
Jorden asked her Mommy if she pooed in the bag, where did she peepee at.  Before Holly could answer, Jorden said, from your legs like I do?  From the mouth of babes!!!

Holly is feeling pretty good.  And her disposition is fair.  She has commented on who convinced her to do this.  Hopefully, she will begin feeling much better and will forget the inconvenience soon.

Thanks again for all of your prayers and info.  Smiles and hugs, Jan
