Hi, Philip, I am so sorry for your situation, I really am. I know that has to be so incredibly hard.
If you are still having feelings like that, you need immediate attention! Call the suicide hotline and then call your doctor. Unfortunately, there is no antidepressant that will work immediately, so you need much support, here, the hotline, a good therapist and your doctor(s). You really probably need to go back to the hospital given you live alone. Is there a BP support group in your area? Usually the DBSA has support groups in every city, usually several locations. Look online, or I can help you if you'd like to tell me what city you live in. If not, I understand.
I really recommend you call someone now, Philip because it's not going to get better without intensive help, it won't be forever. Remember that! One of the GOOD things about BP is that the bad moods come and go, they aren't permanent.

Phillip,
I'm sorry to hear that you are hurting so badly right now. Shannon's right and its important to seek professional help right now. There is a way through and people who can work to help you find a solution that works.
Please take care of yourself,
Putter
Hi Philip,
I also feel strongly about Shannon's advice, and I am sorry you are feeling this way right now. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. *Sarah
Philip, we didn't hear from you yesterday; did you call anyone? Are you OK?
Please just drop a line and let us know how you are today, ok?
Shannon
I took my full dose of seroquel and I ended up sleeping until 1pm this afternoon. I am thankful that my boss was out of town or I would have been in some major trouble.
I think right now one of my biggest problems is having friends. I would really like to meet some people to be able to talk to. Then maybe it will not be so lonely for me. I guess this is typical of people going through a divorce. I sure wish it would change though. I guess I need to give it time. It makes me feel better to be able to talk to people through this bulletin board. So that is a nice step in the correct direction.
I am feeling a little anxious today, but overall I feel pretty good. I have been in doors most of the day since it is very cold and windy today and down in the mid 20's tonight.
Well I'll let you all go. I'll be around tonight so post back as needed and I'll reply back.
Thanks,
Phil
I'm so glad you're feeling better! That's wonderful. A really good nights sleep can do a lot for your mood. Did you check out any support groups? Maybe you could also look into support groups for divorcing people in addition to the BP group, especially if you cant find one. You need to meet not just people, but people who understand what you're going through that you can really talk to and who will listen and really care. You never know who you could meet, a friend or even a future mate, who knows?
I think the contract is a great idea. Just keep writing in, we do care Philip.
Take care,
Shannon
I'm glad to hear you're doing better. I guess I'm new and I haven't written to you before, but I really do hope you continue speaking with your doctor about all the things going on in your head and that you're receiving emotional support from others. Take care!
