Married w/ four kids.
the weekends are easier at the moment. as i dont have to do anything
but the essential.
during the week there are things needed to be done and requires more effort!
Hi Krista,
A lot depends on the weather; a rainy day (like today) makes me want to lay in my flannel jammies on the couch with hot chocolate and a stupid old black and white movie from the 30's. Then I feel very isolated, even though my husband is within arm's reach.
Come On, Spring.. ! haha..
last friday was nice because i went out with my parents site seeing for most of the morning and i woke up energized for some reason. and we have lunch outside the house etc. for saturday i spent the afternoon singing while i was watching the reality show for singers, we call it staracademy. i like to watch people sing and sing with them it's nice because you see them work so hard for their songs etc.
but sunday , today first day of work in the new week for us is a little bloomy, i had trouble waking up and feeling sleepy at work for some reason lol. even though i had a decent night of sleep . i think it's because there isn't much work to do yet at this point in the office we are waiting for this project to start and then maybe its going to be a lot buesier etc , for now its quite..
To be or not to Be
Then Sunday nights and Monday mornings are tough too, knowing that I have a whole week ahead of me to get through.

now a stay-at-home-mom to an amazing little boy
There are usually days where I just don't care about anything and then there are days where I get really emotional and upset for some reason and get ballistic. Right now, I'm just frustrated and upset for a few reasons: the 1st being that I can't find a decent job. I've applied to almost every store, and get the same negative feedback: "We're not hiring right now, but we'll hold onto your application for a few months", "We need people with experience, and you don't seem to have any", etc. I've been told so many times to look elsewhere and try a job placement thing, but I'm sick of being reminded so many times by my family and my psychiatrist to do so (It's like i'm being pressured).
The 2nd is that I've been stuck in the same community college for almost 3 years just because I can't pass any of the math courses! I've had a learning disorder since I was 3, and one of the long-term weaknesses I've had was mathematics. If I don't pass a certain math course, I have to repeat it and I'm left behind again!
Then the 3rd happens to be my family. Normally, it's been a love/hate relationship, but now I'm not so sure. I can't tell as to whether they really care about me and want the best, or they want me out of their house since I've been nothing but a lost cause to them since I became depressed.
Sorry about your job situation. Sounds like you are covering the bases. The type of job you are looking for may be more plentiful when school starts back up, but then you will likely be in school. . . . ewww . . . sorry. Do you have any factory jobs in your area? Might be worth a little drive.
Our community college offers tutors (at no cost) who are paid for X number of hours whether the students use them or not. One of my adult sons has a learning disability as well and he found that meeting with the tuter EARLY in the course was the best guarantee of good grades in his difficult subjects.
Don't know quite what to say about your family. If we play devil's advocate, it might be hard for them to know just what to say because when we are depressed, there is nothing they can say that will help sometimes. They are kindof in a catch 22.
Are you receiving help for your depression. Are you still insured under your parents health care? Best thing to do would be to make an appointment with your doctor and tell him/her how you've been feeling. You may benefit from an anti-depressant or counseling or both.
Keep us posted Blue!!
Blessings!
