How many diagnosed are awakened at night with diarreha

just wanted to ask, how many diagnosed with IBS- Have be awakened at night with diarreha???? Not every night , but sometimes. Just thought i was would ask because, some say yes, and some say no, and doctors cant agree on this. Thanks

Yeah, I've got this.  I was always told, also, that nocturnal D usually signifies some other organic cause, but a lot of people on this board have nocturnal D.  It could be that we are misdiagnosed as well; I've often thought a lot of IBS-ers actually have something else going on.

It has happened to me a handful of times. My doc never seemed concerned about it. I think it depends too on what you eat and when you eat it (like just before bed).
