I am a new member and have a question

I feel awkward discussing this but are there any males on this forum? As a man I feel I have a need to be strong and deal with
my own problems, but am glad to know this site is available.
Ive dealt with my epilepsy on my own for 20 years, currently
with dilantin and have my seizures under control.
Most of the posts Ive read seem do deal with far more serious
problems than I have. I just dont want to post on a 'womans only forum."  Some of the side effects of medication seem to either.
In any event, I do appriciate the site and wish you all the best

Jose,

Dont feel awkward !!! Everyone on here is here, for the same reason, whether ,male or female !!! Sometimes the subject may be more about a womans problem, eg.. hormones.. tongue ... Or sometimes a male problem.... Hmm whats a good example.... ummm... hormones... tongue ..LOL... But no matter what type of seizures you are having, whatever meds you are on, whatever , whatever, all input is needed and appreciated !!!  Let me tell you from checking out support boards, I really learned alot in the past year from others experiences....Just by reading , and finding out there are others out there with the same problem .... So please dont feel funny !!!!

Feel good

Shawn also comes here sometimes, so there are at least a couple of guys around.

Hope you find support here.

minnie66,

One example of a "male only" problem is erectile disfunction.

As if everything else isn't bad enough.

Randy,

I am sure Seizure meds have alot of side affects that men may face, and women have other side affects to deal with, that is why I think it is great to have a group to ask questions, and ask others opinions of a problem .....
I feel that way anyway .....I know . I think... most of the comments are based are experiences and opinions...

Sorry if I made my earlier post sound like a joke, I didnt mean it that way....I know Seizure Disorder, and being on medication is not a joke, not for men or women.....

Jose this is a great forum. Both the males and females are helpful so much. I just became a member this past Nov. they listen to you give you some good ideas and really let you know they care. Hope you keep posting here.
