Last week he started not acting himself...very sluggish etc...I took him to vet
on Saturday morning and he said I had a very sick cat. Something with the liver...
the whites of his eyes were very yellow. They took blood to run a cbc panel.
By this morning he couldnt even walk. I had to carry him everywhere.
The Dr. called this morning ...Without doing more tests, the Dr said it was liver and
kidney failure and probably Lymphoma.
I am so sad. I miss him already....

I'am so sorry to hear about your cat. My Gizmo went to kitty heaven in July as I was going through chemo. Poor thing had breast cancer too. I swore I would never get another, but ending up adopting a little boy last month. He will never take her place, but I'am beginning to love him just as much. He must have had a good life, I can see you cared about him very much.

Cathi - my condolances. There is nothing like a stretched out furry stomach to pet when you are down. I know that some people (not pet owners) that would shake their head at mourning over a pet, but they really are wonderful companions. My step father calls them fur people.

Oh, Cathi, I am so sorry. It's amazing how our pets become such central figures in our lives. One of my kitties was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago and I know he won't be with us much longer. God's only mistake with animals is giving them such a short life-span. My thoughts are with you.

Oh, Cathi. I'm so sorry. Can't help crying at the thought of your having to say bye to Cody. What a dear companion you had. Our pets are not just animals but members of our families. I know you're going to miss this member of your family.
