Hi, I currently have a ileostomy bag but will be getting a reversal (Ileorectal Anastomosis) around Feb. '07 (I'm currently almost 7 mo pregnant and will be having a C-sec. in Oct.)
I have had a partial colectomy. They left my rectum since I was pregnant at the time of surgery but removed my entire colon. I'm looking for people who have the Ileorectal Anastomosis (end of small bowel/ileum connected to the rectum) to share their story with me. Have you been happy with this surgery? What is life like after the surgery? Any and all information you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
