I'm new

Hi,
I'm thirteen-years-old and I've been having severe bouts of depression since age eleven. Lately, my mood has been even worse. I have fits of violence, everything makes me loose control, I'm constantly crying, I can't eat without feeling sick, and I've been cutting. I feel like I'm on a speeding train and I can't stop, all that I can do is hold on tight as it crashes. My family thinks I'm crazy but they won't get me help. My mom says I'm not really depressed and yells at me constantly. I feel like I can't function, I constantly miss school because I feel psychically unable to get out of bed, my grades are tanking, and I have crying fits in public and urges to cut at school. Please, please, help me! I think I'm going to kill myself if this doesn't stop soon, anything is better than this sort of pain.

*frowns* Wish I knew more about how to help someone feel better, this bout broke my heart.. If your mom isn't wantin to confront this, try talkin to a counselor at school and then they can bring it to your moms attention.. It helps to have a 3rd party explain whats goin on with you.. I get so flustered sometimes and I get intimidated by people, so whatever I say never comes out right, doesnt even come out right here either.. But if it helps, I am glad you found this site! You'll find out that there is alot of people here with sadness and/or anger from being hurt.. It helps soo much to talk about it and I think its better here because you can let it all out and no one here is gonna judge you and if someone did, theres always that "ignore button" up top.. But I've never had to use it... The people are supportive and might even enlighten ya too.. The more POSITIVE people you have around ya, the better..
I know its hard to believe, but there is always a better tommorrow..might be the next day smile but it'll come!
FinalNirvana,
you need to talk to someone who is trained to listen. Like Nature's Spirit
said talkin to a counselor at school will definately get the ball rolling. That's one of the things they do. They will find help for you, one way or another. Just tell them what you told us. that's all it will take. I don't understand the cutting, but as far as your last statement i do. If your Parents won't listen to how serious this really is please find someone. if you have a faverot teacher, they can help too. just don't sit and stew on it. that is never a good thing.

i am glad you came here looking for help, that's a good sign that you know you need help. it is helpfull to talk about these feelings and this is a good place to do just that. So welcome, please post again and stick around. let us know how things are going, k

take care, JohnD
What was Edited out here on this post? There is nothing wrong with what FN wrote about. Again, an explanation to the poster of why their post was edited is sort of warrented wouldn't you say?
