She is in Utah vacationing, so is out of the path of Dennis. Who else do we know is the path of the hurricane that we need to check on? I have a friend in Tallahassee, and she said they are all right. This is going to be a bad one. Prayers for those in the path of Dennis and the aftermath. May they be safe. Lauri
Hey guys, I live in central Alabama, expecting 70-100 mph tomorrow am. Live alone with lots of trees around my house. Had mild damage with Ivan last year. Not looking forward to this.

Oh dear JuJu you are in harm's way, I will keep you and yours in my prayers. Are you staying in your home alone, then? Take care and be sure to go to a safe closet or bathroom on the inside walls if weather deteriorates. Hope you don't lose power for long. Please let us know as soon as you can that you are ok. We lived on Galveston Bay area during Alicia but headed inland for a couple of days, so I well remember what it was like even inland. Big hugs, MK
