I started awiqli pen once a week 5 weeks ago.I also take metformin 3 tablets a day.How long it takes for pen to work?
I don’t see much difference in numbers at home glucose monitor.
After 90 days my a1c will tell any difference.

Awiqli is a long-acting insulin injection, so it can take a while, but I think 5 weeks would be enough time to see the results. How much are you taking?
I m taking 70 units of awiqli.Each pen has 700 units.
My a1c is 12.4 done recently.serum glucose numbers is 19.

70 units is the recommended starting dose.
If that's not enough then you will need more, but you don't want to take too much because it can cause hypoglycemia.
Have you talked to your doctor about increasing the dose?

I have access to the endo after 2 months.He suggested increasing dose if number is high while giving me the pen.I am worried abt hypoglycemia so I don’t increase the dosage.

I mentioned earlier that my computer problems seem to equal your diabetes problems.
Your situation seems to be improving, or has the potential for that.
My computer problems took a turn for the better today, also, when I went down the list of computer specialists in my area a few days ago. I got one who said he would come by today, and he did.
He said, my abundance of computer problems stimmed from the fact that my computer was basically filled and I needed a new computer.
He solved my printing problems by telling me, my new printrer worked just like the old one that had quit working.
It turns out the former computer helper I had was ripping me off. I finally caught on to that and quit using him and couldn't find another such helper for 3 weeks.
I told him, what a difference one person can make,
I feel lilke a new person. After 3 weeks, I can go back to working on my computer and printer agein. I didn't know if that day would arrive.

Hi there, I am sorry you aren't seeing a difference by now with the new medication. I am not sure if you are type 1 or type 2. It seems that nothing is helping at the moment, though something may have changed since you first posted. I am type 2. My a1c is 7.5. At one time years ago it was 14. I have been battling diabetes for 40 years, I was diet control for 22 years. I had an infection in my pancreas caused from gallbladder issues. I ended up with necrotic pancreatitis in which the pancreas is eating itself. That was scary. I had to wear a bag on my stomach for four months. The end result is that they put me on Jardiance. I don't know how you feel about Jardiance, it is kind of like Ozempic I guess. But my numbers are coming down though it is gradual. The doctor said I might be able to come off of the insulin. We'll see. It does take time for things to settle. Maybe give things a little more time. It took about three months to see the difference in the a1c numbers.

Having diabetes is not fun. My blood sugars get low in the middle of the night. High in the mornings before I even eat. Oh I am also using dexcom and it helps you see more as to what is going on with your blood sugar.

"For most adults with diabetes, the American Diabetes Association target for blood sugar is 80 to 130 mg/dL before meals and under 180 mg/dL one to two hours after meals. For an average A1C test, the goal is below 7%."

My "home glucose monitor" numbers can run to 138 (not 15.6), but I take my readings when I'm fasting, because I get lower numbers than when I take my readings fasting, for 12 hours or so.

These numbers are mmol/L, the difference is a factor of 18.
So 15.6 mmol/L = 280 mg/dL
That's way too high.
Awiqli is long-acting (basal) insulin so you really want to look at fasting glucose and not just after eating. If fasting glucose is too high, then you need to increase the awiqli injections.
