Does anyone experience intense burning in their stomach? I started having pretty bad heartburn, acid reflux, etc.... about a month ago. 3 times since then I have had this intense burning in my stomach that seems to last about 2 to 3 hrs. I have been on Prilosec OTC for 10 days now and I feel much better, but I did get one of the bad stomach burns just 3 days ago. I was under the impression that the PPI's would totally wipe out any of this stuff. I did have a couple of beers and some fries w/ spices on them. Is it true that you can still get this stomach burning and pain while on the Prilosec?
I still get the burning pain probally from the gerd ppis just help..

I'm taking pariet 2x20mg daily and also have started experiencing GERD at night.
I'm very strict with the food, I try to stay away from from fries and beer(caffiene, pepper, tomat that may be the case ....basicall anything with any flavor :) ) Have you gained weight recently? I stopped going to the gym for a few weeks due to a bad knee and noticed that this gerd started, I'm not too heavy 210lbs --- 6ft4"
