j-pouch formation surgery

hi,
i am currently recovering from my j-pouch formation surgery....and if anyone has any questions i will try to answer them.  i have one surgery left-to take down my temporary loop ileostomy-probably this summer.....i just pray that it is the last surgery because i hate the hospital!  i was there for 9 days for this surgery because i had a complication ( a kink in the bowel ) and i couldnt eat the whole time ...but now now its been a few weeks and i just had mcdonalds for dinner :)  anyways, this loop ileostomy is harder for me to deal with then my first ostomy...it had to be flatter ...so i have to wear a convex bag, and it comes off easier.  its also got an incision beside it this time , and even though i was careful, its splitting open a bit.. the scar is actually better though , since they cut in the same spot and sewed it together even better this time and used more staples.  my dad has an ileostomy and hes considering this surgery too...but it will be hard for him to take time off work.  i am lucky that i can stay with him while i recover.  anyways,  everyone take care and wish me luck! ;)
its been a month now since surgery, and im going nuts because i go to the bathroom waaay more than with my original ostomy. im told that this is normal, but nobody warned me beforehand! its awful, and my bags dont last cuz of it. they only last like 2 days and then leak. aaaghh
Hi what type of people would be canidates for that surgery? I have an illeostomy and I was just wondering.

God Loves You!
