Anyone know what kind of disease this is considered. Before menopause, my joints were strong. After menopause, they feel loose and dangly. I still take HRT so I'm still able to play tennis. But barely.
Hmmm. that's a good question. Could the medication be doing that? Are you on anything else?
I'm guessing Erin or someone more experienced in this could help. Have you spoken to a doctor yet about this?
I hate that feeling. I've dealt with it before and it's not fun!
Take care.

Yes I have spoken to my doctor. It seems like it's a genetic thing that came on after menopause. Has to be lack of estrogen and progesterone.
Thanks for responding. It's not life threatening so I will have to live with the inconvenience.

Ceres,
Were you evaluated for osteoporosis?
You say your joints are weak? What made you notice this? Was is a change in range of motion? or difficulty moving, lifting, reaching?
I know personally, I get that same feeling of "loose dangly" joints when I am on prednisone.
What genetic predisposition is your doc talking about?
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Keep at that tennis!
Sincerely,
Erin
