Can anyone describe what the Lamictal Rash looks like?
From what I read on the internet, it seems like some versions of the rash are very serious, and others are not quite so serious. I have been on Lamictal for 4 months now, 150 MG BID, and in the past month or so, have noticed these little bumps on my elbows, no where else. They are white-ish but get red when I itch them, and can scab up if I itch them too much.
I just made the connection that they could be related to Lamictal, but not sure. I guess I am due for a visit anyway with my Neurologist.
If anyone can tell me their experience with the rash, that would be very helpful!

My daughter gets a rash on her arms from lamictal, they keep a pretty close eye on it. If it gets any worse I am to let them know immediatly! Apparently there is a point where it can become dangerous. Lamictal.com can give you more info. Good Luck!!!! Pam
There is a good picture of a rash that turned out to be benign, The girl was taken off the med but later reintroduced it much more slowly and was fine. There is also pictures of the VERY serious Steven Johnson's rash...........

Rashes on Lamictal should be taken seriously. MOST are not the serious SJR< but it is best to have a doctor who knows this rash check it out.
On re reading your post, I would still call the neuro and ask. It almost sounds like another type of reaction since it is limited to your elbows? Worth calling you PCP and asking. Does it get better with benedryl cream (if your doctor says that is ok for you?) I would have it looked at just to see what is going on.
