Hi Mimi and Welcome to HealingWell!! :)

I know someone with more experience will come along soon, but I just wanted to welcome you and your daughter and send my best wishes to you both!

This has to be very difficult for you, being the Mom and the Nurse. Have you checked with your daughter's Dr. about getting some relief help for yourself?

Best wishes to you!! Hugs, Teri :)

Mimi,
I wish I could offer help, but other than possible electrolye imbalances from excessive sweating or low calcium or potassium I can't offer any ideas. I know that when it's hot and I perspire a lot if I don't balance out my sodium and calcium intake I get killer leg cramps and so does my hubby. Ask your doc and see if maybe some yogurt or potassium rich foods might be in order for her. Also, has he done a blood test for electrolytes?
