Lexapro question

Hi Everyone,
 
I am from the UC site but I take lexapro also and I wanted to know
if anyone takes more than 20 mgms a day of lexapro?
My doctor told me 20 is the maximum dosage of this drug is this true?

Hi Donna,  Welcome to the depression forum!  I am sorry we are a little slow with the response...Your post ended up at the bottom eyes ....I don't take Lexapro, so I cant be of much help there.  But we do have several members that do take it.  I think 10-20 mg is pretty common from what I have seen.  Hopefully others will post replies.  I just wanted you to know your not forgotten.... :-)   Take care...

    Hi there,I have crohns disease and i,m on Lexapro for my depression also .I take 20mg a day and it,s been helping me deal an cope with my disease ,it really works thank god . :-)

      sick of meds

I take 30 mg of Lexapro.
