Missing you all....

confused  Maybe it's the holidays, I don't know, but I'm missing you all A LOT. Lately you've been on my mind as I go about my day.  Maybe it's because you're all really part of my family. The year is winding down and there have been a lot of losses for us here.  There are also far too many new sisters in our group.  Gosh, will there ever be a cure???

I just needed to tell you all how important you are and how very much I miss you.  We need to start planning another get-together right after the new year.  In the meantime, I'm hugging each of you.  Love, Luci

Hi Luci,

I was thinking about you the other day. Las Vegas is quite different from New York around the holidays. Hope you're making the adjustment well, and enjoying the warmer temps. Will you go to the New Year's Eve block party on the Strip? I hear it's way cool. LOL

Happy Holidays, my friend.

L&H,
Rita

Dear Luci....

I miss you so much even though we were just together....The friendships we have made
is the only good thing that has happened because of cancer ..I cant imagine going thru this without you and so many of other of our Breast Friends..I am so thankful you are all part of my life...

Love you so much

She calls it friendship; I call it hope....

Dear Miss Luci, I miss you too! I wish we had been able to connect when I was there, but I am sure it will happen. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Bet that cute grandson of yours is going to have a blast with grandma there! L&H, Gail

Love and special hugs just because you wrote such a great post. I loved it. That was so so nice. Thanks again so much and best to each and everyone of you. L&H, Joyce

Yes Luci, you really made my day with your post. It is incredible how much we all care about one another. 2004 and the end of 2003 were especially rough on our group. I believe those we lost are all watching over us and saying, "Did y'all read Luci's post! They miss us down there even though they carry us in their hearts!" Hope you are enjoying family and having wonderful holiday celebrations. Hugs MK

Luci...

A great big hug for you sweetie {{{{{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}}}}, what a special post from the heart. I feel the same as you, each and every one of you mean so much to me too. Imagine, if I had never had breast cancer I probably wouldn't have met you wonderful ladies.

How very special our connection is!!!!!!!

Love you lots,
Hugs
Deb
PS. Where will we be meeting in 2005???? HMMM

Luci:

I think of you, too. I hope you cheer up with the knowledge that you are so loved.

You mean a lot to me.

Great big hugs to you too. The women on this board have a very special place in my heart too. It is such a nice thing to say and to hear.

Love, hugs, and holiday blessings to you,

Many Holiday Blessings to All

Life may not be the party

 we hoped for,

but while we are here we might as

well dance.

That is such a nice post.  I hope to meet you ladies in person some day.  You have all been a great comfort.  I consider myself lucky to have 'met' you all here, even under the circumstances.

Love and hugs,

Kathy

Missing you, too, Luci. I thought I had posted to you, but don't see it so must not have done it. I hope you and DH are adjusting to life in Nevada. Really different than NY, isn't it? And, no Orange Alerts to worry about. I bet you are enjoying time with the grandson, too.

I agree with you that this has been a difficult year for us. When I look back at the photos from St. Louis, San Antonio and Myrtle Beach, I realize how many dear friends have passed. It really is sobering. I think it is interesting that science has managed to come up with a vaccine for the SARS virus in just a couple of years, and still no cure for breast and other cancers. Just does not seem fair. Holiday hugs and love, Lauri
