Mobic 7.5 mg

 Has Mobic 7.5 mg worked for anyone ? I was given this by my PMD but it doesn't seem to completely rid my pain . I am having horrific pains in my hands , wrists, arms,and feet. I feel as though I were 100 years old !!! (no offense to anyone) The pain is so bad it makes it VERY DIFFICULT with ADL's (activities of  daily life). I am miserable !!! I have a high pain threshold but this pain is really doing a number on me .Any info is greatly appreciated .Thanks for your time.

Hey Conchita, welcome to Healing Well. I'm sorry that you are in so much pain. Have you been diagnosed with arthritis? If so, what type? Also, how long have you been having this pain? I used to be on Mobic also. It really didn't do much for me, none of the NSAIDS did, I had to get put on Enbrel before I found relief. Is your PMD going to refer you to a rheumy? Diagnosed January 2005 - Psoriatic Arthritis/Spondylitis
-Currently taking 50mg shot weekly of Enbrel
Diagnosed May 1998 - Graves Disease
-Complete Thyroidectomy September 1998 - While 11 weeks pregnant
Other Complications - GERD/Scoliosis/Hiatal Hernia/Graves Disease of the Eyes
Current Meds -  Enbrel/Prevacid/Synthroid
Past Meds - Inderal/PTU/Prednisone/Voltaren/Feldene/Mobic/Cortisone and Steroid Shots

Conchita; I just started taking Mobic 15 a week ago. I am now to cut thme to 7.5. I did notice some improvement. I have been having extreme left hip and right foot pain. I ended up in the ER 2 weeks ago. then the dr. office. I have an appointment with my pain clinic dr. on Fri. (29th). But right now my right foot is really just throbing and buring. I am on so many differnet meds. that it would take almost the wohole page to list them.

But back to your inquiry, I do think the mobic has helped some. I usually can't take NSAIDS for very long, because of my stomach. So far so good.
