More Prayers Needed for Mark

Mark is back in the Hospital in Little Rock. This latest crisis is very hard on Teresa and Mark both. Your prayers and positive thoughts are needed again. We're not sure what has caused this latest problem; Mark has been in and out of the hospital all year and the episodes seem to be getting closer together.
 
Please continue the prayer chain; it is important that Mark receive his new liver soon.
 
We'll keep you informed as we hear more about his progress.

Barb, please tell Teresa and Mark that my thoughts and prayers are with them. I'm so sorry that they are going through this crisis again. Please tell Teresa to be strong and keep her faith.

Hello All!
Teresa called me last night and she is very worried about Mark, Please keep them in your prayers!! Lets hope and pray he gets a Liver quickly!

Hello All,

Thank-you for all your thoughts and prayers. Mark was released from the hospital last night. We have been having such a hard time keeping him stable, he keeps having trouble with the encephalopathy which put him in the hospital again, this time the ascites became infected. They did do a paracentesis and put him on antibiotics. We have been having trouble with the potassium getting too high also, so now they have stopped the aldactone and increased the lasix to 80mg twice a day. They did a colonoscopy and endoscopy and did not find any varices, they were not able to see everything they needed to see in the colon so now he is going to have to have a barium enema. I just don't know how much more of this we can take, it has gotten to the point that I am afraid to even work, because I never know if he is going to be okay! I am even afraid to go to sleep, for fear of the encephalopathy episodes. I keep praying he will be listed soon, and receive his gift of life. Again, thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
