My Little Boy is allergic to milk and eggs. he gets congested and throws up half his body weight, so it seems. the egg allergy/reaction was obvious. as son as eggs went in his mouth.. jump back (figure of speech). he can eat things with eggs in them and is fine. the milk allergy.. well that was a little different. we sometimes went back n forth from 2% to whole. we noticed when he drank whole, he would get congested, start coughing and wow jump back. and then (both alergies) he is immediatley fine and ready to play. he can drink 2% (and soy) just fine and he loves ice cream. ?? is it just a richness/fat content thing?? is it ok to continue giving him 2%?
When I was real young I was allergic to milk, wheat & anything that was acidy.I outgrew it all.I never liked anything wheat as I never got accustomed to eating it.

Hi Rafael, welcome to Healingwell
How old is your son? If he is younger then 3, many children develop an intolerance to dairy but outgrow it after a while. If he is having no trouble with 2% then I wouldn't stop giving it to him, that way at least he is getting some calcium in his body. As for the eggs, maybe he just doesn't like them and has a weak stomach?? Both of your questions really should be addressed to a pediatrician because I know at a certain age, it is critical for the growing body to receive the essential fats found in whole milk.
Good luck and let us know what the doc says

my son will be 2 in Feb. about the eggs, he really is funny about textures. much more than his sister.
thank you
thank you
Your son sounds like mine at that age. He was a little odd with textures too. Anything soft or mushy, he wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole........especially eggs and jello. If I made him eat it, he would keep telling me he was sick to his tummy but he never threw up. He is 14 now and has absolutely no hang ups about food.
