My Surgery Is Tomorrow....the 13th

Hi Girls.......
Well, I am going for my surgery tomorrow.  I have Invasive Lobular found by accident in the lumpectomy I had back in March.  Not really worried......what they saw was 1.2 CM, but think it is bigger.....had MRI a week ago, so I guess I will hear about that tomorrow.......I'm having the Sentinal Node biopsy too and that is what scares me.........But, it's just something I have to do......Wish me luck and I leave you with love and hugs.  JANIS

Janis, where do you live? We'll get the PCE (our imaginary plane) fueled up so we can be there with you. I did not have much pain after the SNB, but the range of motion was limited for a while. Even now, 5 years later, I have some tightness when I stretch. Ask the nurse about stretches or exercises to do while you recover, that will help you a lot.

I live in Monroe, NC......(near Charlotte) It is 11:24 PM right now and I have to get up at 4:00 A.M. and leave by 5:00 to get there at 6:00, but I am feeling a little anxious......oh well, I'm sure I will get more sleep after I get there (ha)...........At least I am first on my Surgeon's agenda, so at least he should be bright eyed and bushy tailed !!!
I'll be waiting to feel those pink feathers...........

Atta girl Janis, bright eyed, bushy tailed surgeons are the best!!!!! We were there cheering him on. I hope he appreciated all of our help. I will keep you in my prayers that the SNB found no positive nodes and that the cancer is early and easily treated. Hugs MK
