My sweet NGS was admitted to the hospital this morning around 3:00 am. He has a high fever and was becoming dehydrated quickly.
We're waiting now on the results of the spinal tap (can you imagine doing a ST on a 3 week old baby??), and the blood draws. The CT scan and chest x-ray were all negative, thankfully.
He's in PedsICU with his tiny little arm strapped to an IV board. He's getting a solution to hydrate him as well as IV antibiotics.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, please.

Friends are God's way of taking really good care of us.
Good news, everyone, Tyler was released this morning from the hospital. The drs. have ruled out everything from meningitis to RSV(?). They're now saying he had a "virus of unknown origin." I'm just glad he's home.
Thank you all so much for your messages and your prayers. I've printed them out for DD and SIL to read later this afternoon when DH and I go there with dinner.
Gosh, one can sure lose sleep over the little ones.
