New issue

So my last scope in January showed complete remission and I’ve been doing great. However, the last few days I’ve been experiencing something new. I am getting the type of low digestive pains that you typically experience right before having diarrhea but then they pass in a minute or two. It happens several times a day. It occasionally happens right before a bowel movement but the BM itself is pretty normal. Sometimes it happens shortly after eating. I did stop taking Lialda a few weeks ago, so I resumed taking it yesterday just in case. Otherwise, could it be something in my diet perhaps? I’m hoping it’s not an indication that inflammation is returning.

No, but one thing I have been wondering about is that I love Lifeway strawberry kefir and have been regularly having a smoothie with about a cup of that blended with half a banana most days. I don’t know if that could be a cause, but while neither of these are new to my diet, it wasn’t something I had almost daily until more recently. 🤷‍♀️

I would say to ease up on the smoothie and see if that helps. If not, you might have a little inflammation going on
