DIAGNOSIS OF BP LAST YEAR, HAVE NOT GREATLY IMPROVED DIAGNOSIS OF BP LAST YEAR, HAVE NOT GREATLY IMPROVED PRESENTLY ON LAMICTAL AND RITALIN. WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE AND INFO IF THIS MEDICATION WORKED WELL FOR YOU

Welcome to the site, but then again--I registered today! : ) I was diagnosed about a year ago too...Anyways, I just thought I would respond. I have been telling everyone about Trileptal. I never had any side effects, and take it in the morning and at night. Everything is wonderful and being sensitive to medication to begin with and this leaving no side effects, I have appreciated it because I do not feel like I am not on medication.

I am pleased to hear from you. I have to tell you that my day was much
brighter just after the messages I have gotten since yesterday.I was
hesitant to go to a forum and reveal something about my bp but now I feel such a release.I hope you will too. I am not manic, just require a mood stabilizer thus far. Just having this correspondence is great. There are many BP's that are in denial.I think I was. It is nat a plague like society may make us feel. I am a better person now that I have found some answers and medication. Thus for Lamictal has been all right though I have wondered about trileptal. I am happy for you that you

JOBEE and Sarah.......Hi and Welcome to you both .......I am not on these meds but my son was on respiridal (sp) and ritalin........He was in denial for quite some time but finally did accept his being bipolar and is not ashamed at least he does not communicate that to me and we talk about everyting ......I hope you find your answers , and will continue to come back for suoort and Honest Empathy ........God Bless ......Lyn
