I've been very busy getting ready to leave for Chicago. I'll be gone until probably Sunday night or Monday. I did want to post these things before I leave.
In Mamm magazine, if you haven't already seen it, on p. 9, there is a new treatment for bc in the liver. It can give up to five years increased survival. It is Laser-Induced Interstitial Thermotherapy. I can't remember whether anyone has had that or not. The phone number to call for information is

Also, my friend RoseMary is doing very well on her new hormone treatment, Faslodex. Her other hormone treartments had worked for five years and she was about to go on herceptin and chemotherepy. It is given by shot. The shot is painful so it is sometimes divided into two shots which is what she is doing.
