Any one else have the PFO and had suregry to close ?
Glad I came across this board .. I had a stroke the DR has told me I have PFO (which means a hole in the heart .. and the TCD (Trans- carnail -doppler ) test shows I have leakage to the Brian which caused my stroke (TIA) they would like to put me in a study to close the heart with having major heat surgery . here is the link to the procedure .. using this new device :StarFlex® Occluder

I'm sorry to hear about all of your problems! We have had a few other members with the PFO, but not in this particular trial as far as I know...I just want to wish you good luck!
