News from Down Under

Hi there friends
I haven't posted in ages but have lurked now and then. First of all, I'm saddened about Mel's passing but know she is in a better place now.

Denise is often in my thoughts - I do hope that all the prayers winging her way help her to a complete recovery

I've been a bit "down"(to put it mildly).  I still have my fuzzy head and have decided that its now time to get this properly investigated.  So I see a neurologist on 21.12.04. Oh dear you would say 12.21.04 LOL! Hopefully he can get to the bottom of whatever it is.  It truely is affecting my quality of life and my capacity to work - I am seriously considering just how long I can continue to work.  I am lucky that I have a most supportive workplace.

so if the PCE can fly down under for  some sunshine & fun I would appreciate it! lets hope for pork chop bones or the head equivilent!

Kathy it is great to hear from you! Sorry you are feeling down, but you are in my prayers and I will be there for some sunshine and fun! L&H, Gail

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.   Elisabeth Kubler Ross

Kathi: I am so happy to see you post. Did you get my e-mail? I will continue to have you in my prayers and I would love to come and visit. I do hope you get some good answers soon.

Love and hugs,

Many Holiday Blessings to All

Life may not be the party

 we hoped for,

but while we are here we might as

well dance.

Kathy,
I'm sorry about what you are dealing with. I hope the neurologist can give you some answers. The unknown is the scariest part...
Hugs,
Julie

Kath, I'm not up-to-date on your problem, but could you be experiencing chemobrain? I hope you will have the answers you need later in the month.

We have certainly missed your posting and wondered where you were.  Welcome back.

Hugs, Jo-Ann

A good friend will bail you out of jail...
but a true friend will be sitting
next to you saying,
"Dâmn... that was fun!".

I sent you an email, too wondering where you were, did you get it? I am really, really happy to see you posting. I hope what you are experiencing is a combination of chemo/age/stress that we all live with from time to time. Sometimes I do and say the dumbest things and I can take chemo out of my equation. LOL. Anyhow, please stay with us and let us help pull you back up. It is summer there and we are just now experiencing some winter, altho that is not true in TX today, the sun is shining and it looks great. I slept late this morning and need to get busy but I was so glad to see your post I had to answer right away. Love, hugs, prayers, MK
