So, I figure all I need is to confer with the three docs in my life, pcp, gyn, & onc, and get them to agree on a hysterectomy, right? I'm up for this. I'm not using the hardware, haven't had a period since last october, when I started chemo, DH does NOT want more kids, although for me the option would have been nice... so having the uteris and ovaries only puts me in danger's way, and keeping the uteris will likely result in more biopsies because of the tamoxifen's effect on my uteris already, and I do NOT want another uterine biopsy. That thing was nasty.
So, this past Wednesday morning, of course, I get my period.

Ellen...I had a few episodes of bleeding about a year after losing my period. I assumed they were periods, but were the result of fibroids, not hormones. Check with your gynocologist. All my bloodwork indicated that these were not periods, even though they were very similar....crampsand all!

wow you know I just finished cooking and cleaning up. I come here and read this and have started to think maybe I wish I had been born with a pickle. This being a woman is not easy. Wish you the best on this one Ellen. L&H Joyce

Oh, geez louise,
Doncha know this would happen. I feel your pain, Sweetie. Hang in there. This might just be a "blip on the screen."
Love you much,

OH Dear. Maybe Bevie has some info that is helpful. I hope so. Life is not easy. BC makes it even less so. Hugs MK
Oh, Ellen!
It seems like our bodies have it in for us, doesn't it?!
Mine started up exactly ONE day after my doctor said, "Well, looks like your periods won't ever be coming back." I'm sure those words must have triggered some secret internal body alarm...."ooh, quick, she's feeling good, can't have that!"
I hope it is just a "stress" event and doesn't repeat. (After all my work going around and getting opinions from 3 doctors about having the ooph surgery, turns out my insurance company says "NO"...they consider it medically unneccesary...I consider them...well, you just can'y type that here on the board!)
Hope things look up soon!
Love,
Erin
Gosh, Ellen, I don't know what to say. Can I just hug you instead?? What a new wrinkle to add to this already difficult situation. Love, Luci
