Project Manager, Q West International, Dublin, OH. Member of Scioto Boat Club. Preceded in death by aunt Mary Margaret Rahme' and father-in-law Robert J. O'Neil. Survived by loving husband, Sean E.; sons, James Thomas and Connor Edward O'Neil; mother, Doris E. Hursey; father, James W. (Margie J.) Hursey; twin sister, Esta E. (Timothy J.) O'Neil; sister, Julia (Royce Lee) Brooks; step-sister, Amy L. (John S.) Mills; mother-in-law, Marjorie J. O'Neil; and many other brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Oh no, I am so sad. Carla was struggling so badly these last few months, and I know she had just started a new chemo recently. Her decline was so fast...I know she was sick for a while, but I think she was working until very recently and also cleaning the darn house. I was so upset at the expectations that seemed to be placed on her....I cannot believe she is gone! Thank goodness her suffering is over.

Oh, I am so sad, we haven't seen a post from her in a while. She wasn;t feeling well for so long. ALl she wanted to do was feel good for her kids. Thanks for the obit.

Lauri, thank you for finding that and sharing it with us. I am so sad right now I can hardly think or type. I knew she was having a tough time but never thought it would be so quick. Prayers to her family and all of us as we deal with another sister lost to this disease.

Oh what a shock! I just mailed a card to her yesterday, I had no idea. And to think she was still trying to work and take care of kids and a house. I can't believe this. Thank you Lauri for letting us know. How in the world did you find out? I am truly shocked beyond words, and so very, very sad that we have lost another sister. Hugs, MK

Even though I didn't know her, I am saddened by this also.  She is only 1 year older than me!  I don't know the details of her struggle, but it is always a shock to lose someone so young to a disease that supposedly has a greater chance of survival now.  My heart goes out to her family.

What a shock. How sad. She was a fighter. Always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. She needed to take better care of herself, but having that maternal/womans mindset she felt she needed to take care of everyone else and that her house was clean. That makes me sad. I was SO happy when she decided to go on disability. I thought, finally, Carla will get some rest. I hate to see this. I had no idea. Like the rest of you I thought she was beginning a new chemo.

I don't even have the words anymore.  This just saddens me so much.  She was only 45.  My heart goes out to her family and I pray that Carla's husband's finds the strength he is going to need.

how much more do we have to endure before a cure is found? this is so tragic, she was such a fighter...i hope she is at complete peace and joins our other angels in Heaven.
