Off topic, but.....

Had a CT scan last Tuesday. To check my lungs and kidneys. Was supposed to have a phone appointment next week for results. Going back a bit I had pneumonia in April which left a coup!e spots on my left lung.
So first thing Wednesday morning the phone rings. Pulmonary Dr calls. You know how you never get a call that quick unless its bad news. So smart *** me said right away , am I gonna die or what?... Silence follows.... Then he asks how I feel. Fine I say shouldn't I be? Are you coughing up any thing? I say no I haven't coughed since April I think.
I asked him if my left lung spots were worse and he said, oh that's resolved😁 its you right one that has something we are concerned about. Nothing there in april. We can't tell what it is. I. Cancelled you phone appointment and we need to see you in person at first available. You sure your not coughing? Nope nada.
So a nurse calls at 6 pm and tells me to come in on the 21 st.
So that's my story. We shall see. Not scared, just thinking too much, "what happens if" type stuff.

Sorry the hear Randy,

I know it's really hard to dwell on the positives, but you seem to have several going for you. You're getting in very quickly. I'm sure you'll get thorough diagnostics, and exact answers at that point. You have no outward symptoms, which is a major plus.
It's so difficult not to get on the internet, and self diagnose. We've all had ourselves off to the glue factory as a result of that, so try not to resort to that.
Best of luck. Keep us posted. Hopefully nothing to be overly concerned about.
As a addendum, I have never smoked anything, but I was exposed to second hand smoke for the first 22 years of life. And breathed a bit of jet exhaust in the air force😋
Keep us posted. I don't want to get you scared but this is what happened to me. A sonogram of my kidneys picked up something on my lung. I went for a pet scan and it ended up that I had lung cancer, stage 1B. I had surgery last July and so far, all is good. They removed part of my lung and took out 19 lymph nodes, all were negative.

I had no symptoms at all. If it wasn't for the sonogram, I would of never known. I did smoke and I quit before having surgery last year. Also, I was subjected to all that toxic stuff right after 9/11. Anyways, I go for cat scans every six months. So far, everything is good.

Well there are couple marble sized nodules. They want to do another CT in 3 months unless I get symptoms, then sooner and get a biopsy. We talked about having started the skyrizi over the summer and being a possible infection . but without a biopsy that is unknown. 😋
