Ok, it sounds as if Ohio is a good option based on access for many. I've heard Columbus, Cinci, or Cleveland....(what about Toledo?)...
For those who live in those areas, and are interested in being involved in planning, perhaps you can scout out facilities, to see if there is a good place with suites (so we can eat, drink, play scrabble and be merry).
And votes? are folks preferring one locale over another? Or do we want to let the hotel be our deciding factor?
And dates? maybe we should start a thread on the dates to get votes?
I'd prefer Columbus or Cleveland over Cinci, just because it is a shorter drive. But I can do whatever the group agrees on...
Anywhere in OH is fine with me. I know I can get easy flight into Cinci as that is where I have changed planes for Myrtle Beach. I am sure I can get to Columbus, Cleveland or wherever. Anytime in May is fine with me except Memorial Day weekend. I'll start packing as soon as we have a date and place. Can't wait to see everyone again and meet our newbies. DH, DM and I are in Indiana visiting DD, SIL and OF COURSE Melanie Rose who has changed so much since Christmas it is hard to believe. Hugs to all, Lauri

I was hoping to get in on this Gathering, but if it is May I won't be able to. With the upcoming birth of my first grandbaby in mid April (or sooner), my vacation the last week of April into first week of May will be in MN. I could have done Memorial Day weekend, but that seems out for most everyone else. Doubt I would be able to get off more time in May because vacations are pretty well set for my office by this time.
Wherever you meet you will have a blast, I know we did in St Louis which is the only time I have gotten to go. Take pictures and post your fun for the rest of us.

May 1 or 7 are no good for me. How's the 14th or the 21st? Haven't looked at the map, and wanted to see the rock and roll hall of fame, but If it's eastern Ohio, it may be easier for me to drive there.....

Cleveland is north and middle OH Ellen, very doable from your area for a drive. I lived 50 miles east of Cleveland and drove to Rochester NY easily.
My grandson will be graduating in Cincy area in May, they think his Open House will be Memorial Day weekend, so I could combine with weekend before or after. Or I could head to Pittsburgh and visit my mother on another date. I will try to work with anything that is best for the majority.
