OK so Jo-Ann is being admitted...............

She called and said the doctor thinks it is staph infection.  She was very sick today and thought it was the tetnus shot making her sick.  Seems as though she has a temp and they told her she would have to stay a few days.  Good thing I warned her this might happen. She is one who hates to stay in hospitals.  But I reminded her when I had the last infection they made me stay in four days with IV antibiotics, and she should be prepared and she had better stay.  She says she will be good and do as they tell her. She is in North Central Regional Medical Center in McKinney, TX but when I went to the website to find the address, they have two centers and I couldn't tell from the maps even which one she is in.  So I can't give an address.  Once I get a phone number from her, I will let you all know that.  Since she can't do much else, she can talk on the phone. LOL

And yes, this is from the cut over the weekend. If it is staph, it sure moved in fast.

I know you will keep her in your prayers and I will keep you posted.

I'd love her number. Was going to call her today and then didn't. I wish I had. I know you can make her behave but not too much. I'm afraid I always go in prepared for a fight just in case. I guess that's why the Onc in town hides behind a plant when he sees me coming. Another story for another time. I'll leave the computer on for undates. Love, Di

Sometimes it is a slender thread, Sometimes a strong,
stout rope; She clings to one end, I the other;
She calls it friendship; I call it hope....

I'm glad they are taking care of her. How fast this came about! She's in my prayers.
