i take 20 mg of olanzapine was put on it recenly taken it with lithium plus lamical celexa,i been inthis depressive episode aproxx 7 months i suffer from bipolar 2 i think it is helping whitch is great but the weakness and tiredness is really bad i am sleeping too much and when i am not asleep i an very weak,i dont know what to do any advice
20mgs seems like a fairly high dose. Olanzapine does have some antidepressant properties, but it is also very sedative. I take 5mg at night if I can't sleep and it knocks me out. You may ask your Doc. if you can lower your dose. Your Doc. should also be monitoring your blood sugar levels, esp. if there is a history of diabetes in your family.
