I am taking prozac for depression. Before taking it, I would cry alot BUT the crying would help! Although the prozac is helping me cope with the depressiin, I can't CRY!!!!!! Before, I could drive and cry ( the best place in the world for me to cry is my car!) but I can't seem to cry there either.
Has this happened to anyone else. I have been feeling rather depressed the last week or so and want to cry!!!!
I was wondering if I should go off the meds. At least if I felt depressed I could then CRY!
I don't know how long you have been on Prozac or what the dose is,but for me when I was on it - it was not the right stuff for me. I dont know how to explain it I did but did not have emotion while on it - didnt care to cry couldnt get happy for anything I was just there, wih crzy thoughts going through my head. You should talk to your Dr to see if it needs to be ups or if you need to try something new.
