i have a shooting pain that begins in the front of my head and goes all the way to the back. it has begun to happen increasingly often (atleast three times a day) and i am getting very concerned. the pain feels as if someone is driving a nail through a vain in my head. also, i have been having a great deal of headaches constantly. these streaking pains last for only a few seconds but i either get blurred vision or close my eyes, and feel paralyzed or lose mobility. i have a history of seizures but have not had a seizure in around 3 years and this has been going on a year, now getting unbearable. if anyone has experienced this, please let me know.

no one has experienced this? please post if you have, it will be greatly appreciated. as i have begun to wear sunglasses again all the time (even indoors) and keeping lights off seems to help.
Britt: I had an awful experience like that on depkote and needed to get off it. I would suggest that you go and see your epilpetolgist and tell him/her whats going on. You may need migrane meds? O r a change of meds?
