You made my journey so much easier and for that I will be eternally grateful.Life is busy with school and work. This class is harder than any class I've ever taken, but I will muddle through. I still am blaming chemo for my loss of brain cells. LOL
I have recovered nicely from the TRAM flap. I see the PS on May 9th for a follow up and probably schedule the nipple and lift/reduction on the other side. My slow healing wound is finally almost closed. I am so happy I went through with this. I am absolutely LOVING my flat tummy!
I had a follow up with the rads onc last week and he said I don't need to see him for 6 months. I see the onc next month (still on a 3 month schedule with him). So far so good.
Well, that's my update. I will try to post more often.

How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.
Great news all around, and thanks for sharing! We just LOVE anniversaries here! April 11 was my chemo anniversary, I still count them all!

Congratulations Babyseester,you said something about chemo and brain cells.I finished chemo 8 months ago and i have not been the same since,my mind is so forgetfull and different.I dont know if its damage from the chemo,Tamoxifan,Zoloft.Are you still bothered by forgetfulness etc.? Tammy

Congrats on your one year mark, it sure goes by fast doesn't it.I was diagnosed in July and we are almost there now. I am so glad that you are finally feeling better after your tram flap. I sure wish I had a flat tummy! Here's to many many more anniversay's.

PS I am still forgetful too or I will start a sentance and then blank, I guess it is just a lasting reminder of the chemo.

Glad to hear you are one year past your chemo! Also I really appreciate your "play by play" of your tram reconstruction!!! I just rescheduled mine for July 6th! Work, questions, etc! You know how it is!

Oh Ellen, belive me, I FEEL brain dead in this class. It's so hard, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. It's a lot of material. A couple of weeks ago we got to see 2 cadavers and were identifying muscles on them. I did quite well. The smell was quite overpowering, though.
