Sorry I have been scarce the past couple of days. I actually have been kind of loopy on pain meds lately... I broke my toe.
The other day, hubby and I were outside doing yard work. My dog Abby was going nuts because people were outside without her so I decided that I will go get her and put her leash on so she could hang outside with us in the front yard. As soon as I opened the door there she was ready to zoom. I stuck my leg out to stop her and ended up banging my foot into the door. Well I ended up breaking my toe and boy let me tell you That HURTS!!! 
Well I am going to go get a splint in a couple of days because its a displaced fracture. Just thought I'd share... I really am laughing about it now.

They place it around your toe to hold it in place and then they wrap it up and I have to wear one of those ugly shoes.

Oh gosh Des that sucks! A displaced fracture of the toe, holy moly that's got to hurt! I broke two toes at once about a year ago and hobbled around for freakin' months. Stay off that foot!!!
Really, Des, I'm sorry. I can't imagine what it feels like. I practically fall over crying when I stub my toe. Take care of it.

Gosh Sarita... if I didn't know better, I would think you were my sister in law. Violin player, travels the country, broke two toes at once!!! (oh, and she is 27 so really close to your age) Your twin is out there Sarita LOL... Wow, thats scary.
Thanks guys!!! I have to say that it did hurt really bad for the first couple of days (but how should I know, I was on my pain meds LOL) It still hurts but not as bad so I will survive. I'm going to have a time doing my last minute shopping though.

OMG! You poor thing! I hope you heal ok!!!!! 
You will never believe this but... I sprained my finger by banging it into the wall this past weekend LOL... I am doing my best to type and it kind of hurts so just bear with me for a bit :(
