Does anyone know what causes the pain across the stomach? It feels like someone is stabbing me I do injections there, but last night it was in the leg.
Also I noticed that I'm forgetting a lot more,,,,,not good

I really want to go to Calif 
for vac. but we drive everywhere so lets see 3 days in a car (NOT) and it really depends if I'm responding to the meds I sure hope I do.

She's a real good cook and baker. My kids love going to Aunt Mari's....

eileen,my hubby is confused and got very forgetful,,,,,to the point he no longer plays scrabble with me,and we played at least 3 or 4 games a day before,,,,,its a treatment that is extremely hard on you body and mind,cause its tough on the hep :)

Hi Eileen,
I can only post here what I know from spending an hour and a half with my sisters transplant doc today. My sister is feeling the same way, a bit confused like she is in a plastic bubble.(foggy)
He said it was due to the bile being reduced and her body not effectively digesting her food. Cause we need proper nutrition to sustain the brain and that, he said is what is causing it in her. They have prescibed a laxitive of sorts, but it is not just a laxitive, it has all kinds of other properties to it that are key. Unfortunately the concoction makes her vomit.

hi karen,what is the name of the meds she was prescribed? im not sure thats so good that shes vomiting it right back up,,,,,,have you called the dr and told him that? my husband was not like this before starting the treatments,with the forgetfulness and all,,,,his specialist said its because the treatment is rough on the body causes some bad side effects,so i dont think his is caused directly from the liver problem,more so from the treatment,,,,,but everyone is different too :)

I don't suppose you remember than name of that special laxative?
Is it because the amonia is going to her brain because her liver is so toxic?
this is one of the reasons i swear by coffe eneamas.
If you go to look up Dr. ralph moss on web or Dr. Gonzales or Dr Kelly
or coffe enemas and liver cancer you will see what I am talking about.
Between now and the time she gets that transplant you have nothing to
loose.
