Went to Kimmy's PCP today, told him the neuro was freaking me out with the VNS suggestion when she's only tired 2 meds. Also, he's never run a liver enzyme. I asked if that was okay? He took blood and referred me to the only other Ped neuro in town. He said, a second opinion is great from someone who knows that field. If he agrees with your doctor then unfortunately you may have to accept some things you don't want to. If he doesn't then you've found a doctor whose better for you. I'm feeling better about getting to see this other doctor. We need to get Kimmy under control.
