Ladies, you can tell it is getting close to Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, and I dig the fact that the corporate sponsors begin in September now. Just in Marshall Field's tonight, I saw Frango Mints (in a cute box), Wacoal bras, clinique makeup and Karen Neuberger slippers...all with a pink ribbon theme and support going to the Cause. Betty Crocker has a cookbook at Border's with the pink ribbon, I am not sure of the gimmick, but donations will be made. tongue
 
Every year, I see more and more products promoting awareness and donating money. For fun, let's keep this thread as a running tab of corporate sponsors that we see in every day life. I'll start the list with the ones above plus a few more that I have seen recently....

I saw an ad in the Sunday paper (in the coupon section) which advertised  pink Tic Tacs available. Part of the sales of them will go toward breast cancer research.

I also saw a mattress brand, maybe Simmons? They had ribbon logos embroidered in the covering and said they were donating $250,000 to the cause.

I ordered checks at deluxe.com with pink roses and some of the proceeds goes to Susan Komen...skeeter1

Estee Lauder has the pink pin, the pink ribon compact, lipstick, and gloss. I saw that yesterday.

I was interviewed yesterday for my breast cancer journey and there are going to be actors acting out my story.It will be at the opera house,Dedicated to me.All donations will be donated to cancer society(breast cancer)...Tammy

Wow Tammy, that is exciting news. Let us know how it goes. And if there is a newspaper article that we can read on the web plus post the URL.

I think that Charmin TP has pink ribbons. I know I have seen more but other than those already listed this is all I can think of now.

CanPar (a canadian parcel delivery serivce)
and on the subject of canadian... The annual Terry Fox run is on Sunday. All around here (southern ontario) schools, businesses and individuals connect to contribute and/or support the runs. Over 300 million (Canadian) has been raised since Terry passed away from the runs in his name. Americans have Lance Armstrong (who is an inspiration also), but all canadians have a soft spot for our favorite marathon runner... Terry.

They also have a Ty beanie baby with a pink ribbon it and her name ia Aware. I see things just about every where I go now.

I was just at the Hallmark store, they have a whole display of stuff! Olivia Newton John has a CD (proceeds to Komen), some paper, pins, and I forgot what else....

Gives us all kinds of reasons to go shopping!

I know that Pier One Store (a FAVORITE of mine! ) has pink candles every year. They really smell great.

I just saw an ad for Target, they have a whole line of things, including t-shirts, a compact, stationary, a cashmere scarf ($20!)....
