Popping in to say "Hi."

Check the board often, but don't often have much to say these days.  Just don't understand all the !@#%$ that transpires for so little reason.  Thank you, St. Peter, for putting up with us, flawed though we may be!

Work has been a whirlwind lately.  We're busy trying to get our new union organized and ready for negotiations and trying to get a levy passed (it did!) at the same time.

Brianna turned three a few days ago.  Always a bittersweet day for me. I remember calling JoAnnie at 6:00 in the morning to tell her that we had a baby on the way...and knowing that she would be up, because she was getting ready to go to a different hospital for tests hospital that confirmed her mets.  "It's a good sign, don't you think?" she asked.  How I wish she had been right!

I had lunch with Benito today.  We should be celebrating her birthday this week.  Instead, we continue to grieve over her loss.  I do hate this friggin' disease!

Jo-Ann, how is that rototiller, girl?  Keeping you warm at night?  LOL  I am SO jealous.  I be happy with just a little one!  Becky, I haven't had a "Brother George" report lately.  You keeping him in line?  Or has he been out chasing skirts again?  And Cathi...well, you know I love you, sweet and wonderful lady.  Quit sitting on your hands.  God didn't intend for them to be sat on, I don't think.

Take care, ladies.

Love and hugs...

Hi!  I'm new to the board, but just wanted to say hello.  Hope to see you here more often.

Kathy

Hey you, I was just wondering about you this morning! Nice to see you and glad all is well. Amazing how despite this disease, things carry on....

I hope you decide to post more often, you really do have good things to say!

L&H,
Lori

Hey, sweet girl!  It's so good to see you here.  Your brother would love to see you again!

Here's a hug as we remember JoAnnie.  So glad you were able to see her dh.  I'm sure it did him a world of good to be able to talk about her with someone else who loves her.

I'll see if I can find a picture of George to send you so that you don't forget us!

It's so good to see you here, dear friend.  I love you!

Becky

Bev, how good to see your post. You sound like life is keeping you busy and that, my friend, is a good thing; it keeps us from "noodling" over unimportant events, etc. Take care, Bev. Sending you an extra hug. Luci
