Hello All, Hello All,I am new here and am in search of someone that is a seasoned veteran with this BC. I could really use a Friend that could walk me through the in and outs of the procedures I am facing. I am a 42 yr old woman who is by rule of elimination narrowing down the field on what is going on with my Breast. Dr's say Im not preg, It;s not my psych meds Their is no bacteria in culture they did last week and General Phs says that Im not going through Menapause, needless to say Its not looking good for the home team. Three years ago, when In Naval Reserves they told me to go and get a mamogram they saw three spots on my breast, at that time I thought I was Invinsible, now its an Major Prob. would really like to find out If that Is a normal reaction or not.

Although I'm not a seasoned veteran, there are alot of wonderful women here who, unfortunately, are.They are a wonderful, helpful and caring group, and if you have to join us, you couldn't have found a better place.

Hi Air Angle, I edited your post so you would have a title that might bring you more help. You really didn't say much about your symptoms so it is hard to know where to go in trying to help. Three years ago you had a mammogram that showed three spots. What kind of spots? Were they white and called calcifications? What is going on now? Have you had another mammogram? Are there more spots or is there something else showing? You mentioned pregnancy and menapause, so I am assuming that there is something wrong with your period. Generally that is not affected by breast cancer unless you are taking medication or having chemo. So tell us a little more and we will see if we can help you. You can get a copy of your records from three years ago and the mammogram report at that time. It might be handy to have if something is developing. I was diagnosed with breast cancer nine years ago and was one of the fortunate ones, a mastectomy took care of my problems. Unfortunately we have many women who have been fighting breast cancer for a good while. So let us try to help. The least we can do is hold your hand as you go through tests, etc. Hugs MK
I, too, am wondering what kind of spots you had on the mammogram and why nothing was done or said about them for 3 years.
