My non-UC friend had a colonoscopy today. She said and I quote “No big polyps but there were puddles. Not sure if I heard that right. They want to do another one in 6 months so they can doublecheck”.
In all the years I have been reading posts on this board, this is the first time I have heard the term “puddles”. Anyone??
Google AI says that when scope results refer to “puddles” it means that there was still prep left in the colon. They can usually suction them out, but if they were murky instead of clear fluids they can prevent accurate results.
