Hello, Hello, I've already been to my other sites,but thought I would check with ya'll.Do any of you ever feel like you are starving even if you've just eaten?I thought maybe it was my diabetes or crohns,but now I wonder could it just be my reflux?I feel like I am having cramps like hunger pains.Sometimes I might have it once in one day,then not again for weeks,Or I might have it last days and make it hard to sleep.Sound familier to anyone.

I'm usually checking out the CD board because my husband has CD, but I've been having more trouble with my digestive track here lately than he has. I also get that feeling. It happens a lot at night and I'll eat something so that I'm not hungry in the morning (that seems to make me ill ???) but I'm still hungry, but not really hungry not wanting to eat, but still the feeling. Very wierd and I wish I could get it to go away.

Countrygal,Are you on any typ of steroids?I know that when I'm on good ole preddy it makes me want to eat constanly it like when I would eat and ten minutes later I feel as tho I have never at any think.What other kinds of meds are taking?

I don't know much about CD but I had that "hungry" feeling for a very long time before I found out my problem. I had tons of stomach acid and was taking excedrine for stress headaches. The combination eroded my lining and I became very anemic from the slow blood loss. After I was on Nexium for awhile, the hunger pains stopped. They come back when I forget to take the Nexium. In my case, I think the stomach acid is agitating my stomach just enough to make me think I'm hungry. My constant munchig and heartburn and dropped alot since I started on Nexium.

I have the starving feeling when my hiatal hernia is acting up. It helps to eat a few crackers or some pretzels. I have to eat a small something every few hours to keep everything in check.
