My old birthday list from the village days says this would have been Cherilyn's 50th birthday. I remember meeting her (and her DH) in St. Louis in 2000 and thinking what a remarkably pretty woman she was. She just glowed with inner peace and unwavering faith. I like to think that she is celebrating her birthday this day with all of our other special angels. Sadly, Lauri
Thanks, Lauri, for remembering. She was a neat woman, for sure. I admired her zest for life, and all that traveling she did! She never let her cancer slow her down and she was always so positive.

Yes, Cherilyn was a special person. She and her husband had such a great time those last couple years, camping and running around the country. She didn't lite long enough to post much, but every once in awhile she would surprise me with a phone call asking about everyone and telling me she was doing ok. She is missed like so many of our old friends. I hope they are throwing her a 50th party in heaven today. Can't you just see the celebration? Thanks for the post about Cherilyn. I remember her from St Louis also. What a fun time, and so many of our BC sisters from that gathering who are celebrating her 50th birthday with her now.
Sad but us, but we can't be sad for them.
