Starlite,
Don't worry about confusing anyone here. Those are all big issues that you are facing, but it sounds like your doctor has some good suggestions. I know that there are several other members of the forum who are taking abilify and sing its praises so maybe they can offer some help and hope that all is not lost. I understand how devastating it feels at this point, but there is a way through. Make sure that you are letting your doctor know of all your symptoms so he can help you to choose the best of the available options.
Take care and let us know how you are making out.

Thank you, Putter for answering, and for letting me know that i made some kind of sense. Being confused, or confusing others is yet another stepping stone to feeling like i'm litterally going crazy. i hope i do get incontact with some ppl that are on abilify because i know nothing of this. Mainly scared of stopping seriquill abrubtly, and adding another med that doesn't fully take effect for a couple of weeks. Scares me to think how lost, how symptomatic i would be durring that time.
if anyone has any info on abilify....PLEASE let me in.
thanks again
melissa

Hi, Starlite,
I'm sorry you're scared, I know I would be if someone said I "had" to change my meds!!!!!!
I was on 250-300mg Seroquel a day with a couple of mood stabilizers, but that was making me tired and still cycling, so I tried abilify - leveled out in about 2 weeks, felt great. I still take 50mg Seroquel at bedtime, I can't sleep without it, but if I could, maybe the Abilify would be enough. I can't say how it would affect you of course, but Ellie and Arenace and I all had good luck with it, and those are the only people I know who have been on it, so track record is good!
